Votes
This is merely an educated guess and may change over time.
The threshold required to rule a conviction is two-thirds of the senate members. If a senator cannot vote (such as when they are detained, imprisoned, or absent), their vote is automatically counted as a vote for acquittal. Two-thirds of the senate members is 16.
Political pundits and commentators are saying that there is a possibility that the threshold may be reduced to only 14 votes, as some senators are continuously absent from the proceedings.
